Conversion System for dedicated CNG engines

           

   This system developed by OYRSA GNC is a kit to use compressed natural gas (CNG) as fuel in all types of engines that have been converted from Diesel to Otto cycle. It includes all the elements expected to be found in a conversion kit whose pressure regulator depends on the engine power, and it also includes an electronic control module with the following functions: programmable sequential ignition, closed-loop control and system protection by monitoring operational parameters.

   The OYRSA HDE system was specifically conceived for Otto-cycle engines to control advance with and without load, to optimize engine performance and to reduce fuel consumption as much as possible.

   OYRSA HDE now includes functions that give the user full flexibility in advance mapping applied to sequential ignition, and seamless adaptation to any fuel regardless of its state - gas or liquid – or specific features. The equipment has a system for shutdown detection and control, in case of failure conditions.

Uses:

   OYRSA HDE system can be used to retrofit four-stroke engines with 4-6 cylinders - there are models available for 12 and 24 cylinders – with cylinder capacity ranging from 2,000 to 20,000 cc. These engines can be stationary or used in vehicles, including trucks, buses, tractors, 4x4 and UV.

  • Programmable sequential ignition using MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) and RPM.
  • Closed loop by oxygen sensor control and step motor for fuel dosing.
  • Programming of delays or advance based on knock sensors' readings.
  • Cut-off function by using the TPS reading.
  • Ignition and shutdown without backfiring.
  • Programmable alarms and shutdown based on oil and water temperature readings plus oil pressure.
  • Programmable rev. limiter.
