Vitkovice Machinery Group will focus this year 2010 in developing new advanced and clean technologies. In this sense, the company is entering completely in new areas of transport. Jan Svetlik, Vitkovice CEO, noted that they have entered into the development of natural gas engines with a capacity of 1400 and 700 cc, and the results should be ready by the end of this year, with a fully functional prototype.

   The project, carried out in partnership with Marat Motorsport, aims to produce more efficient engines than those powered by gasoline or diesel and exploit the vast potential of natural gas, which maximize engine performance on conventional fuels.

   Vitkovice Machinery Group is the largest engineering group in the Czech Republic, with a strong position in selected segments of the production of machinery and large investments. It incorporates approximately thirty companies.
