Users of natural gas in homes, businesses, vehicles and industries in Lima, Peru, have managed to save about 488.648.052 dollars in 2009, according to the company Cálidda Gas Natural del Peru.
Cálidda general manager, Ernesto Cordova, said that depending on the customer base they have, people from Lima who uses natural gas at home saves up to USD 13 per month on average, each business customer also saves USD 685 a month. While the monthly savings of a user of natural gas for vehicles (NGV) arises to USD 317 a month and an industrial consumer to save USD 43.948 a month.
The executive stated that Cálidda has 18.060 customers in the residential segment, the business has 690 clients, at vehicle level added 81.029, and in the industrial sector are 326.
He explained that the end of 2009 the savings generated in the home industry was USD 2.817.360, in commercial USD 5.671.800, in vehicles USD 308.234.316 and USD 171.924.576 on industrial segment.
Finally, Cordova projected that in 2013 the annual savings could be doubled reaching USD 909.645.348.
