March 17, 2022. Grupo HAM opened a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) service station in Dos Hermanas, Seville, located in the Polígono Industrial La Isla, Calle Río Viejo 8, next to the Autovía del Sur, also known as as the Andalusia highway, one of the six radial highways in Spain and the main communication route between the center and the south of the Iberian Peninsula.
HAM has installed a mobile unit in Dos Hermanas that allows heavy vehicles and trucks to be refueled with LNG. It has a hose that allows users to charge quickly and safely, and a payment terminal where clients can pay with any debit or credit card or the HAM Card for professional use, only for companies and freelancers.
At the level of technological development, it should be noted that a cogeneration system has been installed in this mobile unit capable of supplying electricity to the unit in case of demand, thus taking advantage of the possible losses of subcooled liquid natural gas caused by thermal exchanges in the processes of refueling.
Likewise, the HAM Group also opened an LNG station in Salamanca, at Calle Puerto de Gotemburgo 1342A, a few minutes from the N-620 and the A-62, also known as the Castilla highway, which runs from Burgos to Fuentes de Oñoro, on the border with Portugal, forming part of the European route E-80.
The new facility, designed, built and commissioned by HAM Cryogenics, has a 60m3 tank, with a submerged pump for LNG and two innovative LNG refueling points for trucks and heavy vehicles.
