August 5, 2019. At the beginning of 2020, a new version of the Fiat Ducato powered by natural gas for vehicles (NGV) will be marketed. With a new three-liter engine, it develops 136 hp and has a maximum range of 400 kilometers.
The Ducato 140 Natural Power also benefits from improvements throughout the range: the new engine complies with the Euro 6 standard, start and stop system, intelligent charging alternator, more efficient electronic fuel management and new nine-speed automatic transmission. Driving aids have not been forgotten: assistant to monitor blind spots, detection of approaching vehicles and obstacles in the rear during maneuvers, emergency braking assistance, etc.
More specifically, the new natural gas engine develops 136 hp at 2730 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 Nm at 1500 rpm. In addition, it is now possible to add additional tanks to increase their range up to 400 kilometers. This new Ducato NGV is available in a box version of up to 17 cubic meters and floor cabin (three sizes).
