February 5, 2024. The Head of New Energies of the Spanish Confederation of Service Station Employers (CEEES), Zoilo Ríos, and the President of Gasnam-Neutral Transport, Silvia Sanjoaquín, have signed a pioneering agreement to promote the use of clean energy in transportation. This agreement marks a milestone on the path towards the decarbonization of mobility, focusing on the promotion of the use of alternative fuels in the sector, such as biomethane and hydrogen.
Through this alliance, CEEES and Gasnam-Neutral Transport will collaborate in the development of activities to promote research, innovation and technological development in the field of transportation. In addition, they will organize information and training events to promote their decarbonization and share knowledge and good practices in the areas of energy, sustainable mobility and the use of alternative fuels.
The Spanish Confederation of Service Station Employers is a national, non-profit entity established more than 45 years ago with the objective of being the meeting body for all Spanish service station employers.
Gasnam-Neutral Transport, for its part, is the Iberian association that promotes sustainable transport and integrates all the actors involved in the value chain of biomethane, hydrogen and their derivatives by land, sea and air.
