December 13, 2025. As a new competitor in the Bio-CNG station market, Altens continues to expand its network in France. Just weeks after celebrating the completion of its station in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne, Seine-et-Marne, the operator has officially opened its station in Guise, in the Aisne department.
Accessible to all types of vehicles, the facility is located in the Briqueterie Industrial Park. Operating 7 days a week, it features two refueling lanes equipped with CNG1 and CNG2 pumps, two 999 Nm³/h compressors, and a 4,000-liter storage capacity, allowing it to refuel up to six heavy vehicles per hour. The station, which offers 100% Bio-CNG, supplies green gas produced in methanizers located in the region.
Developed in collaboration with the Hauts-de-France Regional Transport Authority, the facility also includes a private refueling area, primarily for overnight use, for 22 Bio-CNG coaches in the region, using a slow-flliing system.
“We’re not just providing high-performance, low-carbon energy; we’re building a reliable and sustainable network designed to meet the operational needs of transport companies,” summarizes Étienne Valtel, CEO of Altens.
