In addition, it has software developed against the COVID-19 epidemic, which ensures that the air inside the vehicle is constantly and completely renewed every two minutes, and active filters that eliminate viruses by 99.9%.
Speaking at the delivery ceremony, Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş said: “The Mercedes-Benz Türk company won the tender we opened for our new green buses by offering the cheapest offer. On the other hand, theoretical and practical training has begun to be given to our staff of the municipal transport company EGO in the new buses purchased for the first time since 2013. In this context, about 700 of our drivers, 18 of whom are women, will benefit from the training provided by Mercedes Benz Türk, while nearly 300 of our technical staff will benefit from the technical training. I want our new vehicles to be beneficial to all of our citizens, with the aim of using the resources of the people of Ankara in the most efficient way.”
