March 24, 2024. Bajaj Auto is all set to launch its much-hyped compressed natural gas (CNG) powered bike in the Indian market in June. This was recently announced by Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto.
Bajaj is said to be developing a range of CNG-powered motorcycles aimed at mileage-conscious customers. However, prices of these bikes will be higher than their corresponding petrol versions.
Technical details of the CNG-powered bike are still under wraps. However, media reports suggest that the project is internally known as the Bruzer E101. It is rumoured to use a 110cc engine.
The new CNG-powered bike is likely to be manufactured at the brand’s Aurangabad and Pant Nagar plants. The bike maker is said to have a production plan to build 200.000 units per annum.
