June 7, 2024. A number of documents for further development of Russia’s NGV market were signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024.
Gazprom actively cooperates with Russian regions and domestic manufacturers in order to provide consumers with more opportunities for converting vehicles to natural gas.
Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Alexey Teksler, Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, signed an agreement on a wider use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel.
Gazprom will elaborate the construction options for new gas filling stations in the region. The Government of the Chelyabinsk Region will provide Gazprom with support as regards, inter alia, increasing the utilization of the existing infrastructure.
At present, eleven CNG filling stations of Gazprom are functioning in the Chelyabinsk Region.
Alexey Miller and Alexey Likhachev, Director General of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, signed an agreement of cooperation. The document envisages the implementation of a number of joint projects for the NGV industry. Inter alia, the parties plan to manufacture new-generation storage systems for compressed natural gas, which will be used for equipping mobile refuelers.
Alexey Miller and Vadim Sorokin, President of GAZ Group, signed an agreement of cooperation with regard to the production and supply of natural gas-powered motor vehicles for the needs of Gazprom.
Alexey Miller and Dmitry Martianov, Director General of AMK Standard, signed an agreement of cooperation. AMK Standard will master the production and supply of new models of domestic natural gas-powered road construction machines and special vehicles for the needs of Gazprom.
