June 20, 2025. Gazprom received 200 new freight trucks, thus expanding its fleet to 273 vehicles.

The vehicles are to carry the products of the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP), primarily liquefied petroleum gases (LPG). Gazprom Helium Service is the single road transport operator responsible for the transportation of LPG and helium produced at the Amur GPP.

Like previous-generation models, the K5 generation freight trucks use eco-friendly liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a motor fuel. In the Far East, Gazprom produces this type of fuel at small-scale facilities located near the Amur GPP and on the site of the helium hub in the Primorye Territory.

The cruising range of the new freight trucks has increased to 1,600 kilometers on a single tank. Such a distance can be covered thanks to two cryogenic fuel tanks with a total LNG capacity of 1,060 liters and an upgraded on-board system. It takes only 20 minutes to fill up a Kamaz vehicle. A network of Kamaz authorized service centers has been created along the driving route of the freight trucks.
