January 16, 2023. Iveco delivers 40 S-Way to the Torello Group, a company based in the Italian commune of Montoro, which deals with transport and logistics.
The vehicles are all equipped with adaptive cruise control, DSE (Driving Style Assessment), DAS (Driver Attention Support), Ecofleet, Eco-Roll and Eco-Switch, automatic climate control and integrated parking cooler. In addition, the new positioning of the wide-angle lenses makes it easier for drivers to maneuver. The 20 S-Way LNG, model AS440S46T/P 2LNG, have two tanks of 540 liters each and allow a range of up to 1,600 km. The units have the most advanced fuel saving systems, such as predictive GPS, intelligent auxiliary systems and the Smart EGR system. The aerodynamically optimized cab design allows for a further reduction in fuel consumption of up to 4%.
On the occasion of the ceremony, Antonio Torello, shareholder and CTO of the company of the same name, declared: “Opening the new year with a delivery is exciting, doing it in the company of Iveco and its S-Ways, especially those powered by LNG, adds a plus of sustainability and responsibility. For us, these new additions mean increasing and diversifying the fleet to meet the needs of a market that is increasingly attentive to environmental, social and economic dynamics.”
