March 17, 2024. On March 7, the Perraud group and GEG laid the first stone of the future Pont-de-Claix compressed natural gas (CNG) station, a facility that combines public and private access.
In this way, the first refueling station in the south of the metropolitan area of Grenoble, France, has officially begun its work.
Located on completely new land where the Perraud group’s new depot will be situated, the Pont-de-Claix station will have a unique configuration. In fact, it will combine in a single place an area reserved for Perraud uses with a public area accessible to all.
In the private part, the installation will consist of the deployment of a fast terminal associated with 17 slow filling stations. The Perraud group currently operates ten natural gas-powered coaches. There should be 12 by summer. Open 24/7, the public part will be operated by GEG and will have two distribution channels.
