Iveco presents important innovations related to sustainability and performance at Fenatran, the most important transport fair in Latin America.

November 8, 2022. Iveco presents important innovations related to sustainability and performance at Fenatran, the most important transport fair in Latin America, held between November 7 and 11 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The introduction of the Euro VI standard and the Tector CNG, eDaily and S-way CNG models stand out.

Markets in the region already know the versatility of the brand’s Tector truck line. The portfolio, which has versions from 9 to 31 tons, now gains a new generation that is even more efficient, modern, comfortable and in line with international Euro VI emission restriction standards.

In this edition of Fenatran, the company also presents the Tector 17-210 CNG, the first model in the line powered by natural gas and biomethane. The truck, which is manufactured at the plant in Córdoba, Argentina, has a storage system with a total capacity of 120 m³ of fuel, which allows a range of around 350 km. Powered by a six-cylinder FPT N60 NG engine, manufactured by FPT Industrial, it develops 210 hp and 750 Nm of torque.

This was a special year for Iveco due to the launch of the S-Way in Chile and Peru and the recent novelty for Brazil that started production at the plant that the brand owns in Sete Lagoas. This model stands out in the segment for its high technology, connectivity and comfort. In addition to these characteristics, the vehicle for the transport of cereals, refrigerated cargo and cargo in general, understands the need to promote a more ecological transport through the use of alternative fuels. At Fenatran, the S-Way 460 6×2 CNG is presented, a version powered by natural gas and biomethane that will also be produced at the company’s plant in Brazil and arrives to meet this demand.
