February 2, 2022. Iveco Bus was the big winner of a bidding process, through public auction, promoted by the Municipality of the city of Valledupar, Colombia, to supply 130 microbuses that will act in local passenger transport. The vehicles will be built under the Daily Scudato 70C14G CNG model chassis, with the capacity to transport up to 25 passengers, by the Colombian company Superpolo, a partner of the automaker.

For Danilo Fetzner, Director of Iveco Bus for Latin America, in addition to working to exceed customer expectations, the tender is of great importance for the automaker to expand its presence in the relevant Colombian market. “We have a portfolio of modern, versatile vehicles with proven durability to operate in different operations in the passenger transport segment, whatever the mission and in any country,” he adds. Model deliveries are expected to take place between June and August 2022.

Made in Italy, the Daily Scudato 70C14G CNG provides operator profitability, power, robustness, occupant comfort and fuel economy through compressed natural gas (CNG), with beneficial results for the environment.
