April 2, 2024. Green Gas Mobility Summit launches the 3rd edition of the “Neutral Transport Innovation Awards”, which seek to recognize outstanding initiatives that promote sustainability and decarbonization in the energy and transportation sectors.
The deadline for submitting nominations for the awards has opened, which in this edition are grouped into three thematic areas: energy, road transport and maritime transport. Candidates will have until April 21 to send their proposals to the ten categories defined this year, which seek to recognize everything from the best biomethane and hydrogen production project and their derivatives, to the most innovative vehicles with renewable gases or the best maritime operator or sustainable port, among others.
Starting on June 6, popular voting will be opened on the congress website to choose the winners, thus allowing the community to have a decisive role in selecting them.
The awards ceremony will take place on July 3, where this year’s leaders and pioneers will be recognized. During the last edition, highly prestigious companies such as Amazon, Naturgy, Sologas, Carburos Metálicos, Scale Gas, Toyota España, Urbaser, PreZero España, Waga Energy España, Nedgia, Knutsen, Península, Repsol, Scale Gas (subsidiary of Enagás), PRF and the H2PORTS Project were awarded in the seven categories recognized by the sustainable transportation congress.
Green Gas Mobility Summit, the event organized by Gasnam-Neutral Transport that analyzes the value chain of renewable gases, from production and logistics to their final use as a vector for the decarbonization of transportation, will reopen its doors on 3 days and July 4 in La Nave (Madrid). In this new edition, various topics will be addressed, such as the demanding regulatory framework that we face to decarbonize the economy and its implications for transportation, the opportunities and challenges associated with biomethane, hydrogen and its derivatives, and the challenges posed by the new fuels, among others.
