September 25, 2025. PT Citra Nusantara Gemilang TBK (CGAS) inaugurated the operation of the compressed natural gas (CNG) station in Grobogan Regency, Central Java, Indonesia.
This facility is part of the company’s strategy to expand the environmentally friendly energy network in Central Java.
Andika Purwonuroho, Director of PT Citra Nusantara Gemilang TBK, said that the construction of the CNC at the Grobogan Station was an important step in strengthening the company’s position in the national energy sector.
“This inauguration is a tangible manifestation of CGAS’s commitment to providing sustainable energy solutions while expanding our business reach in Central Java. We are optimistic that the existence of CNG Grobogan GRAN will have a positive impact, not only on the surrounding community but also on the company’s partners,” she noted in her statement.
Grobogan CNG Station has an operating capacity of up to 1.5 mmscfd. The company’s infrastructure operation is expected to strengthen net energy supply while supporting government programs through the National Nutrition Agency, which focuses on optimizing logistics and distribution to improve the quality of community services.
