September 1, 2021. Iveco delivers ten S-WAY models fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Riboni RBN srl, a company that deals with freight transport and logistics for international routes in Europe, Russia and North Africa. The ceremony was held in the Italian town of Lesa (Novara) and was attended by representatives of the firms involved.
The vehicles, which will be used mainly for distribution between the production plants of leading pharmaceutical companies in Scandinavia and the United Kingdom, as well as for the international routes to Benelux and Germany, are equipped with DVS (Direct Vision Standard) cameras, maximum capacity of LNG storage for a distance of 1,600 km with biomethane supply, Safety Cab Lock for the safety of drivers during night stops, Hi-Cruise for predictive driving, geolocation and integrated navigation, and automatic climate control system. In addition, they can count on Iveco On, the portal designed to facilitate access to the brand’s wide range of connected services, and the Iveco On Easy Way application to optimize life on board.
