March 18, 2026. AS 24 customers can now pay with their fuel card at all Knauber liquefied natural gas (LNG) refueling stations in Germany. The collaboration between the Bonn-based family-owned company Knauber and the European fuel services company AS 24 simplifies route planning and billing processes for logistics companies. This partnership adds six Bio-LNG refueling stations to the AS 24 network, located on strategically important transport routes. New Knauber facilities are already in the planning stages.
Dr. Ines Knauber-Daubenbüchel, owner of the Knauber Group, is convinced of the importance of these kinds of collaborations: “Bio-LNG is a key component for making heavy goods transport more environmentally friendly. To ensure greater acceptance of renewable fuels, we must make them as accessible as possible. Collaborations like the one we have with AS 24 are absolutely crucial in this regard, as they simplify processes for our customers.”
For his part, Steffen Eckert, Managing Director of AS 24 Germany and Scandinavia, emphasizes: “Our customers directly benefit from an expanded network of Bio-LNG refueling stations. Strategically located in Germany, one of Europe’s most important transit countries, these stations offer real added value for daily operations. We are pleased to work with an experienced and reliable partner like Knauber.”
