July 29, 2022. These are seven 12-meter rigid buses and eight 18-meter articulated buses, all of them powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) and with an ECO environmental label, which will circulate through the streets of Valladolid, Spain. In this way, with the other fifteen presented on May 10, the fleet of Autobuses Urbanos de Valladolid S.A. (AUVASA) has incorporated thirty new vehicles.

The purchase, whose total cost amounts to 6.6 million euros, is part of the framework agreement that AUVASA awarded to Solaris in 2021, and that it is allowing to carry out the greatest renewal of the urban bus fleet in recent decades.

The City Council’s commitment to sustainable mobility is firm, and events like this show how the city’s urban transport is evolving and increasingly has the best means for citizens to travel comfortably, safe and fast, helping Valladolid to become a benchmark in environmental matters day by day.

The total capacity of these buses, which have a 320 CV engine subject to Euro E emission regulations, is 103 passengers in the case of the 12-meter rigid buses and 135 for the articulated ones.
