The new long-term agreement represents a significant expansion of the partnership between Agrale Argentina and Hexagon Agility, strengthening their collaboration in the development of compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered public transport and supporting the continued growth of this technology in Argentina and across the region.

Across Latin America, transportation authorities are increasingly prioritizing technologies that can deliver immediate emissions reductions while leveraging existing energy infrastructure.
Today, in Argentina’s capital city, more than 97% of Buenos Aires’ bus fleet runs on diesel. The city’s Sustainable Mobility Plan and 2050 Climate Action Plan, announced in July 2025, mandate that all new buses entering the fleet from 2027 must be powered by CNG or electricity.
