October 31, 2021. Primagaz, in collaboration with AVIA, inaugurates a new natural gas vehicles (NGV) station in Montpellier (Vendargues). Located in the industrial area of Salaison, it is the thirteenth in the network that both companies have deployed on French soil. It will supply transporters and motorists with compressed and liquefied natural gas (CNG and LNG).

Located near the A9 highway, an important strategic axis for the transit of goods (East-West/North-South), the facility has an 80 cubic meter tank, three fuel supply routes with two islands equipped with two dispensing devices for LNG and two for CNG (NGV1 and NGV2 connectors). The station, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and designed to supply up to 200 vehicles per day, is a key fuel supply point for drivers of heavy trucks and light vehicles.

To facilitate procedures and mobility, it also has a payment terminal that is compatible with most of the cards used by carriers, including the Avia card and bank cards.

“The inauguration of this thirteenth station will allow participation in the distribution of energy necessary for a large French agglomeration and facilitate mobility in this region. In addition, it will help reduce the carbon impact of local road transport. In this way we strengthen the network of stations and we also offer bio-NGV to our customers throughout the territory”, explains François Brunero, Director of Mobility.
