Rolande and Hoyer sign acceptance of crossed cards for NGV stations

The aim of this partnership is to further expand the LNG/CNG refueling possibilities for heavy transport throughout Europe, and in particular in Germany and neighboring countries.

March 9, 2021. Rolande, the Dutch pioneer and market leader in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and bio-LNG infrastructure, and Hoyer signed a cross card acceptance agreement that will allow drivers to pay at Rolande stations using HoyerCard.Europe and vice versa.

The aim of this partnership is to further expand the LNG/CNG refueling possibilities for heavy transport throughout Europe, and in particular in Germany and neighboring countries, according to a company press release.

Rolande opened its first LNG station in Germany in 2020 in Ulm and the Hoyer Group in 2020 in Soltau.

Rolande currently operates four facilities in Germany with another 10 to be added before the end of the year. A maximum of 24 stores will be added to the network in 2022, according to the company.

In the short term, numerous LNG filling possibilities will also be incorporated into selected Hoyer facilities, according to the Group.
