Sigeif Mobilités selects Endesa for the Bio-NGV station in Compans

Sigeif Mobilités has selected Endesa to build and operate its eighth Bio-NGV filling station.

April 6, 2022. Sigeif Mobilités has selected Endesa to build and operate its eighth Bio-NGV station. Installed in Compans, in Seine-et-Marne, it will be able to accommodate up to 16 heavy vehicles per hour.

Located in the vicinity of the main highways (A104, N2 and A1) and the freight area of the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, in the Mitry-Compans business sector, this facility will be the eighth in the Sigeif network and the fifth operated by Endesa in the Ile-de-France region. Its opening is scheduled for the end of the first half of 2023.

Built on a 5,300 square meter plot, the Compans station is part of “Olympic Energy”, a project led by Sigeif Mobilités and financed by the European Union.

Once installed, the station will be able to refuel up to 4 natural gas trucks simultaneously. Equipped with a large storage capacity, it will supply more than 16 heavy vehicles per hour.

This will be the second 100% Bio-NGV station in the Sigeif Mobilités network after Réau, whose inauguration is scheduled for this year. Indeed, Endesa has undertaken to distribute only renewable gas for the next ten years, that is, throughout the entire exploitation contract. The project fits perfectly with the “Olympic Energy” initiative led by Sigeif Mobilités and subsidized by the European Union for the decarbonization of transport.

“With this new 100% Bio-NGV station that strengthens a rapidly developing network, Sigeif Mobilités offers all local players the conditions to participate in a more virtuous and cleaner mobility”, declared Jean-Jacques Guillet, President of Sem Sigeif Mobilités.
