April 13, 2020. Last mile logistics and urban distribution specialist, Star Service, has just acquired 45 new natural gas vehicles, which will operate in the Paris, France area.

The entirety of this new Iveco Daily fleet is distributed as follows: 42 3T5 mono and bi-temperature, 2 carriers of 7T2 mono-temperature and 1 carrier of 19T bi-temperature. These new vehicles will be put into operation soon in Ile-de-France and will be mainly dedicated to the group’s Star Service Gourmet food delivery activity.

In addition to acquiring these 45 new CNG trucks, Star Service also purchased 5 electrical units.

Between electric, hybrid and natural gas vehicles, Star Service’s ecological fleet now has 250 units. This approach is part of the company’s CSR strategy, which has managed to reduce its CO2 emissions by 20% since 2010, totaling almost one million clean deliveries per year.
