June 23, 2025. Racionalización Empresarial S.A. (RACIEMSA), a transportation and logistics company part of Grupo Gloria, strengthens its commitment to operational efficiency and environmental sustainability by adding 50 FAW CNG trucks to its fleet. This acquisition is being made in collaboration with San Bartolomé S.A., the official distributor of FAW Trucks in Peru, consolidating a strategic alliance for the development of clean transportation in the country.

“This transaction represents a new step in our growth strategy, consolidating our presence in high-demand sectors such as mining and heavy logistics. Furthermore, it is a tangible example of our commitment to sustainable mobility through the use of CNG, which we have been promoting for more than 10 years, in addition to the 20 units we previously acquired,” said Ernesto Rodriguez, General Manager of RACIEMSA.

The delivered units are the FAW JH6 480 NGV model, designed for heavy-duty applications in interprovincial transport and mining. Equipped with a 480 HP Weichai engine, 2,300 Nm of torque, a 16-speed automated FAST transmission with retarder, and high-capacity Type 3 CNG tanks, these tugs offer a range of over 800 km.

“FAW natural gas tugs have quickly become a highly attractive option for logistics applications. Our customers and their operators highlight their durability, ease of maintenance, and cost savings,” said Roberto Rossi, Brand Manager for FAW Trucks.

For its part, San Bartolomé, with more than 33 years of experience in the Peruvian market, reaffirms its leadership as a provider of sustainable transportation solutions. “Thanks to the trust placed in San Bartolomé, RACIEMSA will have 50 FAW units of the highest quality and with a low environmental impact,” said Ernesto Zapata, General Manager of San Bartolomé.
