November 24, 2025. Scania Argentina delivered two compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks with fuel tanks to Lancioni, a company with over 20 years in the logistics sector and a Scania partner since 2011. The new units reinforce the company’s strategy of continuing to incorporate more efficient, sustainable, and competitive technologies into its operations.

The trucks join a fleet comprised of various models, including units from the Super platform, which are notable for reducing fuel consumption by at least 8% compared to previous vehicles from the brand and its competitors.

“CNG helps us lower our cost per kilometer and be more competitive in the market in the long term. We are the region’s largest mileage manufacturer, and efficiency is fundamental,” stated Jorge Lancioni, the company’s General Coordination Leader.

For her part, Lucila Scaramuzza, Sales Manager for the Central Region of Scania Argentina, emphasized: “Gas-powered trucks with backpack tanks offer 50% more range and reduce operating costs by up to 40%, making them a strategic alternative for intensive operations.”
