December 4, 2025. Yutong delivered 52 ZK6890HGQ natural gas buses to Gulistan City in the Sirdaryo Region of Uzbekistan, adding new capacity to the local public transport system. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the handover ceremony and inspected the vehicles.

The delivery aims to improve Gulistan’s public transport services and enhance residents’ daily commuting experience. During the inspection, the president reviewed the delivery and operational plans and provided guidance on further developing urban public transportation.

The new buses will be deployed across seven routes, covering 23 communities in Gulistan and benefiting more residents. Once operational, bus intervals are expected to be halved, providing more reliable and efficient services to approximately 29,000 people daily.

The bus model features a low-floor design with a wheelchair ramp and dedicated seats for enhanced accessibility. Powered by natural gas and compliant with Euro-5 emission standards, this model helps reduce exhaust emissions and noise pollution, contributing to urban environmental improvement.
