Keolis is working towards cleaner mobility in Val d’Oise

The French private public transport operator introduces its first 100% natural gas buses.

April 30, 2026. At Keolis Nord Val d’Oise, the energy transition is no longer just an aspiration; it’s a fully operational reality.

For the past few weeks, the first 100% natural gas vehicle (NGV) buses have been running on the express line 100, which connects Persan Beaumont with Roissy Pôle, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive: greater comfort, less noise, and a significantly improved travel experience. A tangible, visible, and immediately appreciated advance for both passengers and drivers.

A massive rollout will begin in 2026, and this is just the beginning: 53 CNG vehicles will be added to the fleet, 35 of them planned for this year, as part of a transformation driven and supported by Île-de-France Mobilités, which is accelerating the modernization of mobility in the region.

Beyond the technology, it’s a vision: to offer more sustainable, comfortable, and attractive mobility, serving residents and communities.

At Keolis Nord Val d’Oise, they are taking concrete steps to meet the expectations of Île-de-France Mobilités and provide an increasingly efficient, responsible, and future-oriented network.
