September 8, 2026. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s leading manufacturer of utility vehicles and a leader in the LCV < 3.5 t segment, announced the launch of the New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and the Upgraded Veero Diesel.
First launched in September 2024, the Veero has been a testament to innovation and reliability in the LCV < 3.5 t segment. Combining best-in-class mileage, exceptional performance, and advanced safety features, it also marked the debut of Mahindra’s Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), India’s first ground-up, multi-energy modular CV platform.
The New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is specifically designed for intra-city applications. It combines a 1.1 t payload with a best-in-class 2900 mm (9.5 feet) cargo deck, allowing for higher-volume loads while maintaining a compact footprint. Additionally, its turning radius of 5.1 m enables easier maneuverability through congested streets, tight loading and unloading locations. The vehicle is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that produces 48.5 kW of power and 98 Nm of torque.
With an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/kg and a combined Petrol + CNG driving range of over 450 km, the New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is engineered to deliver an extended operating range and minimised idle periods. The vehicle is targeted at applications such as FMCG distribution, fruit and vegetable transportation, e-commerce deliveries, parcel and courier movement, market loads, and other intra-city logistics requirements.
