September 10, 2026. Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération (m2A) has placed an order for ten IVECO Urbanway Natural Power units. This is the first order placed under the five-year framework agreement signed with the Centrale d’Achat du Transport Public (CATP). Deliveries are scheduled for before next summer.
Equipped with the 330 hp Cursor 8 NP engine, the articulated Urbanway Natural Power buses integrate seamlessly into the urban environment while offering high standards of comfort for both passengers and drivers. They are fully accessible vehicles with a capacity of over 160 passengers. Special attention has been paid to the interior and exterior design; this configuration was developed in collaboration with m2A and local designers, aiming to revitalize the visual identity and highlight the quality of the transport service.
The choice of the natural gas Urbanway confirms m2A’s strategy regarding the sustainable transition of its territory, as well as the trust placed in the manufacturer thanks to its expertise and ability to provide clean transport solutions.
IVECO BUS’s Natural Power technology—a proven solution—perfectly meets the demands of environmentally friendly mobility, helping to improve air quality and reduce pollutant emissions. It ensures a reduction of more than one-third in NOx emissions, while fine particulate emissions are virtually non-existent. Noise levels are also cut in half.
The Urbanway can also run on 100% biogas, ensuring an excellent carbon footprint and an environmental benefit that translates into a greenhouse gas reduction of nearly 95%. Designed and manufactured at the IVECO BUS plant in Annonay (Ardèche) and equipped with the Cursor 8 NP engine—produced at the FPT factory in Bourbon-Lancy (Saône-et-Loire)—the Urbanway NP relies on more than 250 French suppliers and subcontractors, enabling it to obtain the “Origine France Garantie” label.
