25 new CNG vehicles arrive in the city of Puerto Vallarta

The units powered by compressed natural gas will be incorporated into the urban transportation service to meet current demand.

January 21, 2024. The city of Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican State of Jalisco, received 25 new units powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) that will be incorporated into the urban transportation service to meet current demand.

To improve the vehicle fleet, the Secretary of Transportation, Diego Monraz Villaseñor, announced that these units will have air conditioning service.

The 25 trucks are Foton brand and have the capacity for 91 passengers, the official highlighted. In addition, they have a ramp for people with different motor abilities, as well as greater visibility, both for the passenger and the operator.

Finally, he announced that, within the first half of this year, the arrival of another 76 units is expected to add up to 101 that will be incorporated into routes in Ixtapa, Ecoterra and in the Pitillal delegation.
