March 21, 2026. The Board of Directors of the Valladolid Municipal Public Limited Company (Auvasa) has awarded the contract for the supply of five rigid buses—12 meters long—powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) to Iveco España, at a cost of €2,305,000, including taxes.
According to the Public Sector Procurement Portal, two companies participated in the bidding process: Iveco España and Scania Hispania, which offered prices of €381,000 and €389,900 per vehicle, respectively.
Taking into account the various criteria established in the tender specifications, the municipal company has chosen to award the contract for the supply of the five CNG buses to Iveco, at a total cost of €1,905,000, which, including VAT, will amount to €2,305,000.
The contract must be formalized before April 15th, and the delivery period for these five buses is 12 months, so they are expected to join the fleet in the first half of 2027.
