All the details of the Bio CNG European Tour 2023 will be revealed shortly, although after the presentation of the logo of the new adventure and the first statements by the President of the Turin-Beijing Cultural Association, Guido Guerrini, it is possible to understand where the compass of the new journey will point.
In 2022, the Bio CNG European Tour set itself the goal of demonstrating how it was possible, starting from Italy, to reach the Arctic Circle using only biomethane. After explaining how the north-south axis of the old continent can already be covered today using only this renewable fuel, now it is the turn to tell how Europe can also be crossed from west to east with at least two different itineraries. The trip will depart from Italy and arrive at Cabo da Roca near Lisbon, the westernmost point of the European continent. From there, strictly following a different route than the outward journey, the expedition will return to Italy and then set off again for Istanbul.
Also in this case there will be two different itineraries to reach the gate of Asia and return again to the starting point. Almost ten thousand kilometers and no less than eleven countries to tell how to cross Europe twice using only the biogas obtained from the transformation of waste, food scraps and animal manure.
The adventure will begin in mid-September and will end in Bologna as part of the BFWE (Bologna Fiere Water & Energy) during the second week of October.
