July 16, 2026. With the goal of strengthening heavy cargo transport in the country, FAW, with the support of San Bartolomé, delivered eight modern JH6 480 HP CNG tugs to Logística Intermodal del Perú at a ceremony held at the company’s facilities. With this transaction, the brand reaffirms its commitment to offering high-performance solutions for the logistics sector.
The tugs are equipped with Weichai engines, an automated transmission with a five-stroke hydraulic retarder, eight-bag air suspension, and valve-mounted engine brakes—technologies that guarantee improved performance and greater efficiency on demanding routes.
This fleet will be used for port operations and on the main transport routes to the north and south of the country, with the aim of optimizing transit times and strengthening the operational efficiency of Logística Intermodal del Perú.
In addition, the units include a two-year warranty with unlimited mileage and are backed by San Bartolomé S.A., part of the Vertical Transporte of the Grupo Euromotors, which offers specialized service through five of its own locations in Lima, Trujillo, Piura and Arequipa, as well as a wide network of workshops nationwide.
