Gaz’Up opens two natural gas filling stations in New Aquitaine

Financed by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region as part of its call for bioNGV projects, the two stations will offer CNG and its renewable version, bioCNG.

April 12, 2021. Natural gas specialist operator Gaz’Up is expanding its network of (bio)gas filling stations in France with the opening of two new locations in the New Aquitaine region. The sites were inaugurated early April in Langon and Boulazac-Isle-Manoire.

Financed by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region as part of its call for bioNGV projects, the two stations will offer CNG and its renewable version, bioCNG. Both fuels will be offered at the same rate, with the region subsidising the difference to encourage the use of locally produced biogas.

The Langon station is located in the La Châtaigneraie industrial estate, close to the motorway linking Bordeaux and Toulouse. With 4 tracks, the station can refuel up to 3 vehicles simultaneously.

Located a few kilometres from Périgueux, the Boulazac CNG station includes 4 dispensing pumps and accepts payment by bank card or Gaz’Up badge.

Focused mainly on professionals, the stations are also accessible to private individuals holding the Gaz’Up card.
