May 2, 2025. Incubadora Santander, owner of the renowned Huevos Kikes brand, is once again committed to efficiency, economy, and clean technology. This time, it is doing so with an investment of nearly 3 billion pesos for the acquisition of 30 DFAC|DONGFENG vehicles, strengthening its logistics operations in Bogotá and Boyacá.
This is not the first time this Colombian company has chosen trucks from the Chinese giant. For the past two years, it has been updating its fleet with models that adapt to the specific needs of transporting fragile products like eggs. With this new purchase, Huevos Kikes’ DFAC|DONGFENG fleet reaches nearly 100 units, consolidating a relationship of trust with the brand and its distributors in Colombia.
The new vehicles belong to the Capitan T line, with a single cab, within the ultralight segment. They stand out for their load capacity of up to 2.5 tons and a body volume of 14 cubic meters. But their true differentiating value lies in their mechanical heart: they run on natural gas vehicles (NGV).
This change not only represents a significant reduction in the carbon footprint, but also implies fuel savings of up to 56%, as well as lower maintenance costs.
In addition to their sustainable approach, the Capitan Ts offer specifications that facilitate daily operation and improve driver safety: a range of 320 km, a 125-horsepower engine, ABS brakes, a 10-speed transmission, and a cabin equipped with air conditioning, a 10-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and a rearview camera.
