Limagas opens a new CNG filling station in Cuzco

HAM Peru has been the company in charge of the technical design, construction and commissioning of the new CNG station in Limagas.

November 18, 2021. HAM Peru, a subsidiary of Grupo HAM, has been the company in charge of the technical design, construction and commissioning of the new compressed natural gas (CNG) station in Limagas, located at the service station Super Servicentro of Primax, on Avenida de la Cultura 1506, the longest in Cuzco, with an area of almost 13 kilometers and significant vehicle traffic.

This new work makes available to all its clients a 40 cubic meter tank, with a CNG pump and 2 double dispensers that allow to refuel this alternative fuel. It should be noted that the tank is buried, eliminating any impact on the circulation flows and reducing the aesthetic impact. The HAM Group has been a pioneer in Europe in its commitment to CNG-LNG service stations with totally underground tanks, through the Yellow Project.

The new facilities designed and built by HAM Peru are monitored remotely, guaranteeing their perfect operation.

The project has been possible thanks to Limagas’ commitment to vehicle liquefied natural gas, with the aim of contributing to sustainable development through the design of efficient energy solutions that help its customers in the challenge of reducing their environmental impact and that, thanks to choosing this fuel, they will be able to lower emissions of CO2, nitrous oxides and fine particles.
