July 3, 2025. Following the recent delivery of two Citymood 10e electric buses to Arriva Udine, a new order has been placed for Menarinibus. These 30 vehicles, each 10 meters long and powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), recently left the Flumeri production plant in Valle Ufita (Avellino) and arrived in Palermo, ready to enter service in the fleet of AMAT Palermo, the local public transport company.
The delivery refers to a tender published in February 2024 by the Palermo municipal company: the tender concerned thirty units, between 10.40 and 10.90 meters in length “with a natural gas engine, which met the criteria established in the Decree of the Ministry of Ecological Transition of 17.06.2021, as well as Regulation 107 of the UNECE”, according to the official document available on the AMAT website.
