June 1, 2022. The gas-powered city low-floor bus NEFAZ-5299-0000040-57 became a winner in the contest “Best Goods of Bashkortostan”. This is the thirteenth victory of NEFAZ PTC, a subsidiary of Kamaz in Bashkiria, with this kind of products and sixteenth – for the whole history of the competition. The company has the right to mark its products with a logo “Best Goods of Bashkortostan”, and also it has an opportunity to participate in the federal stage of the contest of the Program “100 Best Goods of Russia”.
The award ceremony took place at Industrial Park Ufimsky on May 26, during the International Scientific and Practical Congress “Cooperation of Enterprises in New Economic Realities”.
The contest “Best Goods of Bashkortostan” is a regional stage of the All-Russian competition of the Program “100 Best Goods of Russia” celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The competition is a traditional platform for showdown of achievements in quality assurance and embraces almost all significant activities.
The NEFAZ-5299-0000040-57 running on compressed natural gas (CNG) is a bus of the third generation of Neftekamsk’s auto plant successfully developing a line of environmentally friendly vehicles. Its production uses the latest assembly technologies and advanced interior finish. The driver’s workplace was improved to feature heightened visibility, a new ergonomic dashboard, a driver’s seat on air suspension with headrest adjustment and reclining back for maximum comfort. The interior of the high-capacity bus was also improved with account of modern requirements. The passenger compartment became light and spacious. The wide standing area has a place for a bike, a baby stroller and people with disabilities. The conveniently arranged handrails have call buttons. The new vehicle features a ramp for transportation of physically challenged people and passengers with children.
