January 27, 2023. Over the past 15 years, NGVA Europe has been part of many transformations in the transport industry, including the rapid development of natural gas vehicle infrastructure in Europe. Now, the association wants to move towards a carbon-neutral and fully renewable future.
That is why NGVA has decided to launch its Gmobility campaign. Bio-CNG and Bio-LNG are the best developed green transport fuels available on the market and the fastest way to replace diesel in heavy duty vehicles. Under the new name, the entity hopes to continue working with the European Union, industry and civil society to ensure that all use the full potential of gas-powered mobility.
“We don’t want to beat around the bush: the future is green and completely renewable. We have to replace natural gas and we certainly have to do it fast in road transport. With our new logo, we want to underline our commitment and ambition to become carbon neutral with gas engines,” said Matthias Maedge, Secretary General of NGVA Europe.
“Gmobility drives Europe because we have a sustainable, renewable fuel like any other energy carrier. With Bio-CNG and Bio-LNG, gas-powered commercial vehicles and mobility are carbon neutral,” he added.
