December 30, 2022. With an approximate value of 34.2 million euros, the contract won by Otokar covers an order for 148 vehicles, 120 of which run on natural gas. Deliveries will be distributed in batches between the second half of 2023 and the first half of 2024.
Carried out by Autolinee Toscane, the main transport operator in the coastal region of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the first order concerns the acquisition of 58 buses, including 30 units of the Kent CNG, a small gas-powered bus with a length of 10.8 meters.
Regarding the acquisition of 90 units of the Kent CNG, the second order comes from the Puglia region, in southern Italy, where the vehicles will be distributed among the various regional lines.
