Primagaz expands its national NGV network near Toulouse

Primagaz, in association with AVIA, inaugurates a new natural gas refueling station for vehicles in Portet-sur-Garonne, south of Toulouse.

August 12, 2021. Primagaz, in association with AVIA, inaugurates a new natural gas refueling station for vehicles in Portet-sur-Garonne, south of Toulouse. Located along the A64 motorway, in the industrial area of ​​Larrieupolis, it is the twelfth of the Primagaz and Avia network deployed on French soil. It will supply natural gas, both compressed and liquefied, and its organic equivalent, to carriers and motorists. This openness testifies to the provider’s involvement in the regions’ energy transition and its support for the French towards more sustainable mobility.

The new station has an 80 cubic meter tank, three fuel supply routes with two islands equipped with two LNG and two CNG dispensers (NGV1 and NGV2 connectors). The facility, sized to serve up to 200 vehicles per day, is a key refueling point for drivers of heavy trucks and light vehicles.

To facilitate your procedures and mobility, it also has a payment terminal that is compatible with most of the cards used by carriers, including the Avia card, bank cards, as well as fifteen fuel cards. In addition, it is open to all audiences, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

That is why we are proud to inaugurate this new station that will distribute the necessary energy to one of the most populated agglomerations in France”, underlines François Brunero, Mobility Director at Primagaz. “In addition, these infrastructures allow to considerably reduce the carbon impact of road transport in the region and make a gradual transition to BioNGV by 2025.”
