Reiter Log receives natural gas and biomethane-powered trucks in Brazil

Of the total vehicles sold, 40 are diesel, in 6x2 and 6x4 versions, and 15, in the S-Way NG version, use natural gas and biomethane.

February 13, 2026. Iveco expands the presence of the S-Way among leading Brazilian transport companies with the delivery of 55 units to Reiter Log, one of the country’s main logistics firms. The agreement reinforces the companies’ commitment to decarbonizing road freight transport. Of the total vehicles sold, 40 are diesel, in 6×2 and 6×4 versions, and 15, in the S-Way NG version, use natural gas and biomethane, consolidating the use of more sustainable solutions in large-scale operations.

“Decarbonizing transportation is a driver of transformation for the entire economy, as it combines sustainability and competitiveness. Reiter Log’s investment in natural gas and biomethane-powered trucks demonstrates that viable, scalable, and well-established solutions already exist to reduce emissions without compromising operational efficiency,” says Marcio Querichelli, President of Iveco for Latin America.

The S-Way NG trucks acquired by Reiter Log join the other 290 gas-powered trucks already operating in the transportation company, thus reinforcing its leadership in sustainable logistics solutions in Brazil, with the largest fleet in the segment in the country. “This initiative represents another step in expanding the use of natural gas and biomethane-powered trucks in our fleet, especially on highways and long-haul routes, in addition to the diesel units that, thanks to Euro VI technology, offer low emissions, robustness, and an excellent total cost of ownership (TCO),” says Vanessa Reiter Pilz, Vice President of ESG at Reiter Log.
