November 3, 2022. A total of 130 units, arranged for the Strategic Public Transport System, arrived in the Colombian municipality of Valledupar over the weekend, to start up this modern, innovative transport model for the city starting in December.

The buses are model 2022/2023, dedicated to natural gas since their manufacture, with capacity for 25 passengers, certified with Euro VI technology, with compliance with all environmental and safety technical standards; and they will have a platform for people with reduced mobility, air conditioning, turnstile and front route.

The modern vehicles came directly from Superpolo, where the bodywork was manufactured on chassis from Italy.

The investment of 45 billion pesos will allow users a comfortable, safe and efficient experience, by having a technological component that will allow centralized collection, fleet control and management, and user information services. An endowment that will make this transport system one of the most modern and avant-garde in the country.

The Manager of the Valledupar Integrated Transportation System (SIVA), Katrizza Morelli Aroca, assured that this initiative will make Valledupar the first Colombian city to launch a Strategic Public Transportation System, which is expected to come into operation as of December.
