April 21, 2021. Within the framework of the strategic alliance between Toyota Argentina and YPF, a benefit plan was presented for Etios sedan customers equipped with a compressed natural gas (CNG) propulsion system. The owners of this model will have a series of benefits throughout the oil company’s network of service stations throughout the country: they will have the first tank load for free; they will double points in ServiClub during the first 3 months; and they will get 3,000 ServiClub points as a gift.
In September 2020, Toyota Argentina presented a CNG system developed together with the supplier TA Gas Technology exclusively for the Toyota Etios Sedan 0 kilometer models in all its versions, ensuring the quality of the Japanese brand and the performance of the vehicle. This equipment must be requested by the client from the official dealer at the time of purchase of the unit, which will coordinate the installation of CNG with the TA certified workshop.
Also, by installing the exclusive gas equipment for Etios Sedan at a Toyota dealer, the vehicle warranty of 150,000 km or 5 years will be maintained, whichever comes first. For this, it is necessary for the customer to comply with all the requirements detailed in the vehicle’s warranty manual, including performing all maintenance services in the official network of Toyota dealers stipulated in the plan defined by the firm according to the model and version.
In turn, the CNG system also has a warranty for 150,000 km or 5 years granted by TA Gas Technology, as long as the client performs scheduled revisions every 15,000 km or 1 year (whichever is fulfilled first) in certified installation centers by the company for this program.
