September 8, 2025. San Bartolomé, a leader in sustainable transportation solutions in the country, inaugurated its new location in Peru’s most important trucking cluster. The facility is located at Av. Nicolás Ayllón 221-A2, in Santa Anita, and will boost sales of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks from the DONGFENG and FAW Trucks brands to continue promoting the use of clean energy on Peruvian roads.
“This new location became a necessity to offer the best offering of FAW Trucks and DONGFENG trucks. The location couldn’t be any other, as from this location, vehicles can easily travel to the north, south, and center of the country. This is a new achievement for our company, as we provide our customers with high-quality tools that also use clean energy throughout Peru,” says Ernesto Zapata, General Manager of San Bartolomé.
According to the Peruvian Automotive Association (AAP), San Bartolomé has participated in the sale of 270 units (59%) of the 457 natural gas vehicles sold through June 2025. The company was involved in 110 sales of DONGFENG (24%) and 109 of FAW (24%).
At the annual event promoting the development of low-emission transportation, held in late August, San Bartolomé unveiled the DONGFENG Evolution 470 LNG, FAW JH6 480 LNG, and FAW JH6 480 CNG. All three vehicles use clean energy and are perfect for heavy-duty transport, but also for more demanding sectors such as mining and construction. The company had its own area at Sustainable Transport 2025 during the three-day exhibition and promoted the energy transformation on Peru’s roads.
