March 14, 2026. In March, Shell starts offering Shell BioLNG to customers with Bio-LNG contracts, fueling at any of 6 Shell LNG sites in Belgium, helping heavy-duty fleets to decarbonize.
With this launch, Belgium joins the growing number of European countries – the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic – offering Shell BioLNG for heavy-duty transport too.
Shell BioLNG offers lower CO₂e² emissions compared to B7 diesel³ on a life‑cycle basis.
It is another concrete step in building a connected European Bio-LNG network, enabling cross border operations with this low carbon fuel, because decarbonizing freight needs solutions available today.
