The Executive General Director of the Executing Entity for Conversion to Natural Gas Vehicles (EEC-GNV), Rodmy Ricardo Parrado Peñafiel, shared the achievements and results obtained during the 2021-2023 period, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to the transformation of the energy matrix in Bolivia and the economic reactivation of the country.

In the period from 2021 to October 2023, the Bolivian State, through the EEC-GNV, allocated a significant investment of Bs 402,974,515.71. Parrado emphasized that “this investment was intended for economic reactivation through the provision of free CNG vehicle conversion services, equipment maintenance and cylinder requalification, as well as the generation of direct and indirect jobs.”

Among the most notable achievements, the official highlighted the conversion of 34,921 vehicles in the last three years, allowing Bolivian families to reduce their operating expenses by an average of 60% compared to the use of gasoline.

Likewise, maintenance was carried out on the CNG conversion equipment of 86,625 vehicles and the requalification of 91,432 cylinders.

Another achievement that Parrado highlighted was the implementation of sequential injection equipment since May 2022. This action made it possible to satisfy the demand of the transportation sector, which requested CNG equipment that adapts to the modernity of the public and private vehicle fleet.
