EVA Energy promotes expansion of CNG and LNG stations in Southern Peru by 2027

The company has developed a strategic network of stations and is now planning aggressive expansion with clear goals for 2027.

September 6, 2025. EVA Energy SAC, a company dedicated to the marketing of natural gas vehicles (NGV) and liquefied natural gas (LNG), has announced an accelerated growth plan that seeks to transform the energy mix in southern Peru. Since entering the market in 2024, the company has developed a strategic network of stations and is now planning aggressive expansion with clear goals for 2027.

Currently, EVA Energy operates five service stations: two in Cusco and three in the southern corridor, located in Mala, Nazca, and La Joya (Arequipa), in addition to Espinar (Cusco). Each of these stations requires an investment of approximately US$1.5 million, according to Commercial Manager Aldo Romero.

Romero explained that the installed infrastructure allows for LNG storage and service for both heavy-duty and smaller vehicles using NGV, thus offering a flexible and efficient alternative to traditional diesel consumption.

The company’s immediate goal is to close 2025 with between eight and nine operating stations and reach around 20 stations by the end of 2027, with an emphasis on high-impact economic corridors such as the mining corridors in Cusco, Ica, and Arequipa.

As part of this plan, EVA Energy confirmed the construction of two new stations in the Cusco region: one on the Cusco expressway and another in Quillabamba, which will be operational between the end of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.

“The objective is to consolidate the transition to more sustainable fuels in strategic corridors, especially where there is a strong mining and freight transport presence,” Romero stated.
